Me as a Consumer of Music

I listen to music most times of the day. I usually use my phone or computer to listen to it, but I have an iPod that I use if my phone's out of charge. I only really stop listening to music when I'm having a conversation or reading something- or sleeping. I listen to most of my music through streaming it from Apple Music, but I own a small CD collection. I prefer buying physical copies of my music but the convenience and cheapness of streaming it outweighs the novelty of owning a disc. I listen to a lot of genres, but rap, rock and electronic are what I listen to the most. It honestly depends what mood I'm in as to what type of music I listen to. I don't really have a favourite artist. Some of them are probably, in no order; MF Doom, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Nirvana, Death Grips and Aphex Twin. I like these artists for a variety of reasons, it depends on which one- to give a few examples, Aphex Twin and Death Grip's experimental production, and MF Doom's lyrical style. I think I've influenced my choice of music more than anything else, because I've actively went out of my way to find new types/styles of music. I don't like listening to pop, because it feels too polished and formulaic.
